Paneer Sizzler

Ingredients of Paneer Sizzler
- 1/4 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 medium cauliflower
- 1 medium carrot
- 7 pieces green beans
- 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 teaspoon red chilli sauce
- 2 teaspoon corn flour
- salt as required
- 200 gm paneer
- 1 medium tomato
- 1 medium onion
- 2 teaspoon sunflower oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 tablespoon tomato puree
- 2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Step 1 Roast the vegetables Heat a pan and roast paneer till it is golden brown. Remove from pan and keep aside. Then, add cauliflower, onion, carrots, green beans, salt, pepper and saute them for a few minutes on high flame. Then add tomato and corn and saute till all vegetables are done. They should not be overcooked and still be crunchy.
Step 2 Prepare the chilli garlic sauce Place a pan over low heat, add garlic and saute until it is light brown. Add chopped vegetables like onion, carrot, green beans, green chilli and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add tomato puree, sugar, salt and cook for another 3-4 minutes over low heat. In a small bowl, make a mixture of cornflour and 2 tbsp water. Add this mixture to the pan and when the sauce thickens, turn off the flame, garnish with spring onions.
Step 3 Assemble the sizzler Heat the sizzler pan and grease it with butter. Line the pan with cabbage leaves while it heats over low heat. Arrange paneer and roasted vegetables. Then, pour the chilli garlic sauce over it and switch off the stove. Add melted butter to the sides of the sizzler pan to give it a smoky effect. Serve the sizzler. You can also make rice with it.
